Appreciate this scenery taken before the haze.
The haze in Singapore is getting super bad now. At this rate, I think orientations and camps for university is going to be cancelled wts:(
Stayed at home today instead of work because of the hazardous haze( PSI: 371 highest today) and just in case the mrt breaks down again. So more Korean dramas. See the only sustainable activities are sleeping and Korean dramas not School or exercising. Just kidding.
Yesterday, the North East line Mrt broke down and I had a hard time squeezing into the train which stopped at Woodleigh. The free shuttle bus and regular buses at Woodleigh station were packed like sardines. There were so many people that some were standing on the road. I guess everyone got so irritated and desperate that they starting standing on the road wanting the bus to stop and board it. But nonetheless no such luck as the buses were PACKED. I walked down to an earlier busstop since everyone was headed that way to increase their chances of getting into a bus. Still no luck, it was 8PM, the haze was PSI 190, what better timing for the MRT to breakdown?

Walked down another busstop again. This time there was an EMPTY free shuttle bus but it refused to open the doors for us even though the passengers were begging it to stop and open, because the stubborn bus driver wanted to follow rules to only let people in at Woodleigh stop. Like Please. Rules can be bent what depending on the circumstances and besides there were a huge crowd at that stop already. People were taking photos, blaming whatnots and complaining why there wasn't any police to stop people from standing on the road. Jams everywhere, cars honking and chockfull of angry, exasperated people wanting to go home after work.
More walking and asked my dad to fetch me at a small road instead of the jam-pack main road. Poor commuters, some of them must have waited till 10 pm and didn't even have dinner and have to smell the haze:( Got home at 9pm and lost my appetite for dinner. Had headaches from the haze too.
Sorry for the rantings but I really wonder how are we going to survive like this:(
